Favorite Math topic to teach

I like teaching all math topics, but if I had to decide on a few favorites they would be simplifying square roots, order of operations, and graphing lines on a coordinate plane.  What I really like about math is that there is always more than one way to solve a problem and there are so many patterns to be discovered!

Favorite Non-Math related thing to do

I love spending time with my family, watching movies, working on home-improvement projects, and learning how to cook. I also love taking yoga classes because I enjoy the challenge and the internal-awareness that it emphasizes.
