Favorite Math topic to teach

I don't have a favorite subject, but what I love the most is applying what we learn in school to the real world.  Sports and the economy are the areas of interest most talked about in my classes.

Favorite Non-Math related thing to do

Some of my favorite things to do outside of teaching involve my wife and children.  Anything from surfing and watching my kids play sports to gardening or hiking is on the list.  The best parts of life for me are spending time with my wife or watching our children grow and have first time life experiences.  The best time of all is sitting around the dinner table talking and sharing what we did during the day.
